24th golden birthday

Mine was July 24th when I turned 24 ten years ago. I really didn't go all out for gold theme but just really hung around with family and friends; we had a BBQ at Lake Mendocino day use area in California. Later that night I went bar hopping on my golden birthday to get a free drinks with my boyfriend. I look back ten years later and wish I had at least incorporated some gold in their somewhere. But I will not let my kids pass their golden birthdays.
