Romantic Scrapbook For Her

When I first started dating my wife, I was always doing romantic things for her. Once we got married and had our kids, I slipped really bad in this area of our relationship.

Because of this, I wanted to come up with something really extra special for her 30th birthday as a way to make up for lost time.

So I decided to make her a romantic scrapbook. I went through our computer (forwards, backwards and upside down) and pulled all the pictures from our years together that I could find.

There were some from when we first met, some from our numerous dates, our wedding, the honeymoon, our parents, our children, and all of our vacations over the years. From them, I picked out my favorites.

Using the Internet for scrap-booking ideas, I would stay up all hours of the night while she slept putting together this scrapbook. This took me several months to complete.

I added sweet little messages and cut out all sorts of different little scrapbook things that I could find. Not so manly of an activity but I had a lot of fun putting this together.

On her birthday, I presented this gift to her last, after she had opened all of her other gifts from other family members. Her mom, her sisters and especially her; they all broke down into tears almost immediately.

I have to say. Money can buy great things but when you put your heart into something special for someone else and make it with your own hands, there is simply no comparison to the reaction you will get.
