Cool Teen Party Games They'll Rant About At School

When it comes to picking the right teen party games, there's a very fine line between picking cool games that will be a hit and picking games that will grind your party to a screeching halt.

Show your teens that you can still be cool by suggesting these great teen party games!

Teen Idol Karaoke Contest- Using the most popular songs of the time, have your teen guests compete in a sort of mini Idol contest where you, the parent are the judge.

King/Queen Of The Alphabet - One letter of the alphabet (choosing a vowel will make this game extra challenging) is decided upon as being the forbidden letter. Once chosen, no word can be spoken which contain that letter. Beginning with a certain number of lives, each player is asked a number of questions by a chosen person (who also must not speak a word with the chosen letter). The person left at the end without losing all of their lives Wins and is crowned King or Queen!

Balloon Truth or Dare - Begin by writing out an even number of truths and dares on index cards which you've cut in half (one per card). Fold the card in two (or roll them up to make this next step easier) and carefully stick them each into their own balloon and then blow it up.

Each player has a turn picking and popping their balloon and then doing the truth or dare on the card.

Scavenger Hunt - These are always fun and challenging when put together properly. Teens love hunts particularly when they involve riddles that test their knowledge and cleverness. There are various online sources to help you put these together easily. In simple terms, your guests are separated into two or more teams (depending on how many are at your party). They are provided with a list of items to gather (or riddles leading to these items) or places to visit within a certain time frame.
